Kate’s Heart, is a memorial fund honoring Kate Bartel (Germain) Kromann who died unexpectedly at the age of 31 on Sept. 15, 2015.
Kate was an amazing mother and believed in intentional, engaged interactions with children, speaking to their heart, and helping them develop a love for Jesus. For her, childhood play was the time to develop important lifelong skills such as kindness, acceptance, self-control, creativity, emotional awareness, and working together. These are necessary skills for adulthood yet many children do not have the opportunity for free and open play to learn these essential life skills.
Even in our deepest sorrow, we are gratified for her capacity for kindness and what she taught all who knew her. She lived intentionally seizing life for all it had to offer. In living life to the fullest her acts of love and kindness, gentleness and strength, passion and understanding influenced so many.
